Are you curious about the Catholic Church?
Do you want to join the Catholic Church?
Have you been baptized Catholic but have not made your 1st Communion? Confirmation?
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of discerning and learning about the Catholic Church, leading to Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion for those who so desire. Adults who are interested simply in learning more about Catholicism or those who already know they would like to become Catholic are welcome to participate. Additionally, we invite adults who were baptized in the Catholic Church but never completed their sacraments of initiation to be part of RCIA as well.
RCIA classes at St. Michael's Catholic Church meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM from late August through Easter. The 2010-2011 classes begin on September 1, 2010. For questions about the program, contact Rebecca Hoyt via telephone at (334) 332-7144 or email at tinysips@yahoo.com.
